Parish-Wide Synodal Listening

Beloved members of Saint Patrick Church, In October 2021 Pope Francis launched an unprecedented global consultation process: “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission.” Pope Francis says the “purpose of . . this consultation is . . to plant dreams, draw forth prophecies and visions, allow hope to be nourished, inspire trust, bind up wounds, weave together relationships, awaken a dawn of hope, learn from one another, and create a bright resourcefulness that will enlighten minds, warm hearts, (and) give strength to our hands." Synod means: Journeying Together. This consultation seeks Listening to the entire People of God.

Please see our Friday Bulletin for further information about future Listening dates, as well as a contact list of Listeners and Scribers if you feel called to schedule a one-to-one session to share your personal reflection. 

Individual sessions can be held in strict confidence, or you may choose to openly share your anonymous Response(s) with Saint Patrick Church to Pope Francis and the Archdiocese of Seattle.
